Attractions Lyndon House Arts Center 28,000 square foot arts center has five spacious art galleries displaying works of art by local and state artists, a children's wing, artists' workshops and a gift shop. Ware-Lyndon House Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and one of the few antebellum homes with Italianate elements remaining in the Athens area (1856).
