The Broncos basketball program has landed two three-star commitments in as many weeks. Last week forward/guard Chandler Hutchison told Boise State head coach Leon Rice that he was committing to the Broncos, and Sunday center David Wacker, 6-9, 235 lbs, announced he was going to play for the Broncos as well.
Hutchison, 6-5, 175 lbs, is a senior out of Mission Viejo, California. He was being recruited by a number of California schools that included Saint Mary’s and San Diego. He committed to the Broncos following a campus visit where he attended the Boise State- UT-Martin game two weeks ago, the Idaho Press reported. Hutchison’s high school coach, Perry Webster, confirmed his decision. “I knew when he went up there and saw a game and the atmosphere; I knew he’d be blown away. He just fell in love with the place and pulled the trigger,” Webster said.
The news about Wacker’s commitment broke yesterday in a tweet by Robin Washut of Rivals.com:

Wacker is a big center out of Judson High School, Converse, Texas, and averaged 11.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots per game last year. He had interest from Nebraska, SMU and Rice but committed to Boise State less than a week before a scheduled visit to Western Kentucky.
