The State of Public Health Conference will convene influential leaders from a variety of sectors and disciplines who are passionate about improving the health of residents across the state. Featuring a keynote presentation by Tyler Norris, vice president of Total Health Partnerships at Kaiser Permanente, and a plenary presentation by Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald, the commissioner of the Department of Public Health, the conference will include several interactive, solution-driven workshops focused on yielding common sense, practical ideas that can be tested and implemented to yield real results for Georgia.More than merely dwelling on the challenges of the day and problems of the past, the State of Public Health Conference is focused on where Georgia can go. This conference will enable attendees to join with other public health professionals for a relevant, grounded and practical dialogue about public health in Georgia, including interactive workshops addressing the state's most critical issues.
