The Desarios started during the boy’s sophomore year in high school playing at Talent Shows and local run down venues. Lead singer Cory Desario has remained the beating heart of the band as other members have come and gone. As he began to get older (not much older, he only just recently turned 21) his songwriting and playing ability has become consistently better with each homemade EP the band put out. The Desarios just finished recording their third self-released EP with producer Doug Boehm. Boehm is best known for his work with bands like Girls, The Vines and Guided By Voices, but he has also worked on tracks for Fall Out Boy, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus. The “Hey Blondie” EP finds the boys tackling the upbeat rock and roll sound that they were meant to make. The call and response chorus of “Little Hot Mess” is instantly memorable to anyone who has ever seen the boys play live before and the hook-laden rock n’ roll story of a girl named “Juliet” will win you over after hearing the first guitar riff.
