Don't miss the 3rd Annual Georgia Mountain Eggfest in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains at the famous Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee, Georgia.
Schedule Of Events
Friday: May 17 7:00 PM - Rodney Adkins concert at the Anderson Music Hall. Eggfest attendees may attend the concert at a $5.00 discount ($32.00......normal price is $37.00). Call the fair office at 706-896-4191 for tickets. See fairground map below for concert location.5:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Meet & Greet and cooks check-in (All registered cooks and tasters are welcome). Please bring a covered dish (heavy hor d'oeuvres) or something to cook on the egg (there will be 3 large eggs set up at the Meet & Greet along with charcoal and lighter for your use). Location of the Meet and Greet is at the Main Exhibit Building located near the top center of the following map:

**Special note to Eggfest attendees : Due to the Rodney Adkins concert, the demand for accommodations will be very high, so it is advised that you make your lodging or camping arrangements as soon as possible. Also, we will not be able to sell beer and wine at the Meet and Greet this year, but, you're welcome to bring your own beverage of choice to the Meet and Greet as well as the eggfest.
Saturday: May 18
7:00 AM-8:00 AM - Cooks sign in and setup9:00 AM - Tasters sign in9:00 AM - Let the Eggfest begin! Food will be available most of the day. Just wander from egg to egg to sample foods and discuss recipes and techniques with the cooks. Note : After conclusion of the Eggfest recipes from the cooks will be posted here for free download.

3:00 PM - Eggs are to be shut down to allow for sufficient cooling time. 3:30 PM - Drawing for prizes for all the cooks. 5:00 PM - Deadline for picking up demo eggs.
