Join Elachee Nature Science Center for a 5K walk/run, 10 K, Marathon and Kids fun run trail race in the Chicopee Woods on Saturday, March 23rd! Walk or run on single track trails through the forest, across flowing creeks and up and down moderately rolling hills in the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve. Registration includes a 2013 Trillium Trek tech shirt, chip timing, post-race recovery drinks and fruit and one raffle ticket for a chance to win great prizes from our sponsors. First place finishers also receive a hand-carved, alabaster pendant and second and third place finishers receive medals. All proceeds benefit Elachee Nature Science Center, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) that provides quality environmental educational programming to children across metro Atlanta and preserves the beautiful, 1500-acre Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve.
