Acclaimed publication American Songwriter said it best when they described Grayson Capps as “taking the poetry of Texas troubadour Townes Van Zandt, combine with Steve Earle’s edgy attitude and stire with a little cup of the bayou-blues, and you start to get a taste of Capps’ scrumptious gothic gumbo.” Riding the release of Grayson’s fifth studio album, he comes to The Melting Point exuding confidence in a sound that has finally struck home with critics and fans alike. Join us for an evening that gives you edgy lyrics and soaring vocals, steeped in blues and soul. Joining the bill is The Steepwater Band, who have taken the bricks of the delta blues and built upon it a house of Psychedelia and Americana planks. The show starts at 8pm, but we will open the venue at 6 for dinner and drinks!
