Started in 1966, the Maysville Autumn Leaf Arts & Crafts Festival is the third oldest festival in Georgia. It was not held in 1992 due to unforeseen circumstances. The three-day event features arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, country and gospel music, a parade, haunted hayrides, and a kids' carnival zone. Parking is free and there is no admission charge. The event is held in Veterans Park in downtown Maysville and co-sponsored by the Maysville Community Improvement Club and the City of Maysville. The booth vendor fees benefit the Maysville Community Improvement Club which offers several community events year-round including car shows, movies in the park, Thanksgiving meals for senior citizens and a lighted Christmas parade.
